Sassy Pseudo Relatives

Our first full day of being in New York, we took a chance to do some power shopping in Nolita (this area is full of funky shops, vintage places, and tons of artisans) where we caught a sneak peek at Christian Siriano's new store at 252 Elizabeth Street.  As we headed to a pop-up fashion space that was holding presentations throughout the week, our first one was Primary - graphic clothes in black and white with an ease of simple uniforms.  I loved the head scarf accessory which worked well with these comfortable draped and layered pieces.

As we were hailing a cab, we exchanged greetings with the Beckerman girls - beckermanbiteplate.blogspot.com.  I'm most positive that I had been estranged from my birth sisters and had just had a reunion.  We spotted them multiple times throughout the week as they hosted Fashion's Night Out for Coach and Solange (Beyonce's sister) who spun the night away.  I believe the girls hail from Toronto, but with our common sense of style, they may have been born in Arkansas with me!
