Fashion Baggage: Late Nights

After non-eventful days of shopping at Caesar's Forum and Aria (Crystals City Center), we spent our nights running around with some dear friends. The first night I was a little confused as to which bar at the Bellagio we were meeting, but as I love Hermes, I sat my butt on a stool in the lounge where I could view my favorite store while the piano played songs of yesteryear in the background. I also had a view of the Chihuly ceiling exhibit in the lobby. Our friends finally found us around 11:00 p.m., and we talked about the pageant and a Motown show they had just seen. After three martinis for me and none for David since he doesn't drink combined with all the smoke getting in our eyes, we finally called it quits. The next night we decided to go more old-school and meet at the Golden Nugget in their jazz bar where the saxophone player knew all our names, and the waitress knew my drink - probably signs that I've been there too many times. David opted to go to Bally's Jubilee show at 10:30 p.m. with topless showgirls in over the top feather and sequined head dresses. My friends and I decided to try our luck at the tables. I only play blackjack so I found the perfect spot with a $10 cover. Two and half hours later, I had won 500 bucks, my friend Dorothy won $1700, and her grand-daughter still came in with $350 - not bad for having had multiple drinks at the bar and then some more at the gaming table! They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but not this time - I took my winnings home!
