A Man on the Go

When our invitations arrived, David was beyond excited.  This was one of his most anticipated shows of the season.  He could hardly wait for the late night viewing to arrive.  It was an off-the-beaten path location where we entered a random building through the back door after meandering passed a maze of dumpsters and climbing an outside flight of stairs (that seemed more like a fire escape); however, upon entering the room, it was a breath of fresh air in an all white industrial loft that was clean and crisp.  The clothes were equally as crisp but upon closer examination had a slightly worn and disheveled look that gave them a comfort - a reliable ensemble when getting dressed that you turn to like a dear friend.  Minimal?  Maybe.  Chic with an edge?  Definitely!  David was not disappointed with the exaggerated shapes of super lean or super baggy and so happy to see one of his favorites - a very short cropped pant. The white shoes added a freshness to an otherwise solid, neutral, and dare I say dull color palate?  No - it was definitely divine and totally sublime.  It of course was the Siki Im show.

Siki Im spring/summer 2012 show

One of the best looks - long apron front mixed with a cropped suit

A belted jumpsuit cut
Love - and the soft black with this sand color is gorgeous

Long tunic with rolled up jeans - and love the thick white shoes
A little rain protection

A splash of blue
All clothing above by Siki Im
