A Lot of Weight but a Lot of Air

The Emerson show for spring/summer 2012 was entitled Lightness and Darkness because it was exactly that mix that made it a successful combination.  It showed structured pieces paired with fluid lines, heavier fabrics with the leather moto jackets combined with sheer asymmetrical dresses, and darker versions of blue and lavender mixed with the lightest whites and neutrals.  Overall it's a collection any girl would love and was a great show to kick off our week.
