Thought

As the temperatures drop, it's always a good idea to keep on hand a pair of gloves, a scarf, or a toboggan cap just in case you get caught outside.  If all else fails, at least wear a sweater or jacket that has a hood.  It's hopefully fashionable but always warm and helps shield you from any of nature's cold weather elements.  When I'm on a trip to a colder climate, I always have items in my bag that can be thrown on or taken off as the degrees rise and fall.
