BJ's and Blue Hair

Well I thought it would be a great idea to do a contest that made my readers do a little research on me or at least a little back-tracking and actually just to look at older posts to answer a trivia question.  Jenny B got it right.  The answer was "Rated X" by Loretta Lynn.  She is one of my ultimate favorites who is a rebel throughout her country music history and frankly just in her life which is why I thought giving away items from a rebel in the fashion industry would be a good match.  Here's a preview of Betsey Johnson's spring/summer 2012 collection.  The show was campy and fun and full of little flirty dresses that were girly and sexy.  There were lots of ruffles, poof skirts, and bustiers in colors of white, black, and pink with a few florals added.

I died over the celebs alone who were sitting front row - for example, Tinsley Mortimer and Johnny Weir.  I sat next to Patricia Field who is the famous stylist for the Sex and the City series and movies, but most of the commotion came when Nicki Minaj and her teal colored hair (wig) entered being escorted by her bodyguards and causing a camera frenzy.  The show opened with Betsey's daughter LuLu strutting down the catwalk playing to the crowd.  Damn, she's pretty.  Ending the show with a parade of models and carrying mylar balloons in the shapes of "T" and "A", she of course did one of her famous cartwheels.  I hope I have that much creativity and energy when we become the same age (but damn, I don't even have that much now)!
