We left Dallas a little later in the morning than usual so we wouldn't have to worry about our check in time at the hotel to avoid toting around our dog with us. We needed to get her settled in before starting our day. Thank god for first class because we were delayed over an hour at the airport so by the time we boarded, we needed a drink. We landed safely and got the pooch situated then I headed off to the Catherine Malandrino show at a place called Exit Art. Jumpsuits and lots of layers in dark colors with some pops of purple and green were throughout the show, and thrown on top were heavy bomber jackets and slouchy coats. Was this a fall collection? It seemed a little heavy for spring/summer but was very pretty. Head wraps and hats topped off the outfits and were seen throughout the entire week in most of the shows.

Being that I'm currently making some cameo appearances with my girlfriend Tara Harper on
Most Eligible Dallas, it was fun to see LuAnn who is a fellow Bravo character sitting front row looking stunning in purple - hey countess, "that's one of my favorite colors too." I felt like we were starting to bond but then looked down at my watch and discovered I was running late to the next show.

Kevork Kiledjian showed body conscious short dresses in florals or long dresses with thigh high slits - all in army green, purple, and fucshia. I was so happy to see Fern Mallis sitting across from me also in my favorite color and carrying a mini Carlos Falchi python bag in black. Before I had time to talk to her, Style Bubble walked between us with her hair up in a bun and looking so cute and causing quite a stir.

I had a harder time finding a cab as they were all off duty at this point - bad timing I guess - but I ran by the hotel to grab David from unpacking and headed to Saks Fifth Avenue to celebrate Fashion's Night Out. Really I just wanted to see Tilda Swinton who was there from 6:00 - 6:30 promoting the line Pringle in ladies fine apparel. Traffic was awful. We usually get a cab driver who will scare you shitless, but this one of course was in no hurry and drove like he was in a school zone. By the time we arrived at Saks, we missed seeing Tilda by four minutes! We decided not to let this ruin the evening so we walked around all the different floors to see what else was going on. One of the Jonas brothers was in mens apparel, and Frederic Fekkai was in the ladies shoe salon. As we left the building, we bumped into one of the Saks campaign models surrounded by cameras, but the best spotting was one of the girls from
Jersey Shore which just verified that I watch waaay too much television.

We walked down Madison Avenue popping in and out of boutiques to check out their festivities. The one that stood out was the super chic DJ's at Fendi who played for the large crowd who noshed on stuff and looked at the beautiful clothes on display. We then ran down to Bergdorf Goodman where we visited with Jason Wu and Ken Downing all before heading to The Lion for a 12:00 midnight dinner reservation. The food was great, but I only recognized some young socialites sitting next to us and some table hopping super models including Karolina Kurkova.

We wrapped up our tab around 2:30 a.m. and headed for the hotel as we had a 6:30 a.m. wake up call - this was just the beginning!
